Spanish is the official language of over 20 countries and is spoken by 400 million people around the globe. Interpreters looking to add up a language to their Cs can benefit from the fact that international organizations use Spanish as one of their official and working languages and offer competitive examinations where Spanish C is required. In the private market, Spanish is widely used for business and in entertainment.
This one-day course is aimed to present participants an opportunity to hone their interpreting skills from Spanish into their A or B languages. This training has an emphasis in Spanish varieties used in Latin America.
Language & Feedback: This course will be delivered in Spanish. The trainer will provide feedback in the following language specific combinations: Spanish into English, Spanish into French. Feedback for other language combinations will be general and non- language specific. If more speakers of your language join the course peer feedback will be used. Participants should note that this course has a focus on analyzing the inherent roadblocks that Spanish poses and the decision process related to solving interpreting problems.
